Since DS is gaining weight so rapidly he's clearly going to hit the 15lb weight limit on the bassinet here in the next month or so. Not that I *might* not be ready to move him to the crib then... but it seems unlikely and it probably won't help my already fractured sleep... at least now I can just hit the touch lamp in the middle of the night, peek down at him then go back to sleep. Even the 10 steps or so to his crib in the next room seems far away... I was just wondering if anyone here had an arms reach co sleeper or something that holds more than 15lbs that might work? I'm seriously debating returning the playard from our registry and putting that $ towards a co-sleeper - Dh thinks we should just move his crib into our room but yeah... there really isn't space for that but I need a better option.

Re: Co-sleepers?
Do it! I can't imagine not having our arms reach cosleeper, it is even easier than using a bassinet bc LO is level with you.
Babyearth.com regularly has them in the clearance or open box section for waaay cheaper. Ours was open box and was in perfect condition.

Lauren if you look at the bottom of the categories on the left it you'll see unblock bumpies. You'll see anyone you've blocked there.
I can see you Lauren!
And thanks for the info on the co-sleeper ladies. I'm definitely going to get one. I can't fathom moving DS away from me yet. Especially since I still am having nightmares every night that I put him in bed with us (which I have never done) and I wake up frantic feeling for him under the blankets thinking we smothered him... then I come to enough to turn on the light and see that he's sleeping happily in his bassinet totally unaware of my night terror... if I have to get up to go to the other room every time that happens I'll go crazy... er... than I already clearly am.
