I've had the same thing happen. In the hospital I actually couldnt pee at all for the first 2 days so my cathater (sp?) was in longer than expected. My nurse told me it was because they had to peel the bladder away from my uterus and then stitch it back up and thats why I was having problems. I dont know if that is true for everyone though.
For me, I wouldn't say it hurt, just was really uncomfortable. That was for many months. To me, it just felt like things were a little out of place inside from being moved around while taking DS out. It eventually settled on it's own.
Now, if you are talking about more in your urethra when you pee rather than your abdomen, then you very well may have an infection or it it could be irritation from the catheter since you did just have the baby a couple days ago.

I got a uncomfortable sort of burning feeling at first, but I drank lots of water and cranberry juice. Since I am pumping and DS is a preemie, I really wanted to avoid antibiotics for the first six to eight weeks if possible. Now I pee just fine, but I am still using the cranberry juice.
I definitely remembering it feeling weird when I peed for the first while after my c-section and forget about #2 - I was TERRIFIED to do that! My doc said the pressure feeling was normal, but if you're uncomfortable or unsure obviously consult your doctor to be safe.
