Is 14 days post IUI too early to test?

Hey ladies.

I just had my first IUI on Feb. 9th. I'm SUPER nervous about it all. This is the first time in over a year that they have found a drug combo that made mature follicles and made me ovulate!!! Excited about that, just nervous about getting pregnant. Everyone says to not worry about it during the 2ww, but how can you not. You want something SO bad....it's all I think about!! Does anyone who experienced a successful IUI think 14 days post IUI is safe to test? It's hard to wait...but I definitely don't want a false positive or anything? Any thoughts? Should I wait longer? Thanks for any and all advice!!

The trigger should be out of your system by now, so if you test and get a positive, it's a real one. But, I wouldn't try to do it late in the day because it might be too early to show up on anything other than a FRER with FMU.

I didn't have success with IUI, but I definitely think your trigger would be gone and 14dpo is pretty accurate. Like elf said, be sure you've held your urine for 4+ hours though. GL!

I would think trigger would be gone. Mine was always gone by 10dpo. Good luck!

yes, 14 dpiui should be fine to test.

I tested 11 dp IUI and got my BFP, but I didn't have a trigger.

I tested at 12 days post IUI and 14 days post IUI and got my REAL bfp...so I think your safe!!

I tested 12 days post IUI - this was also the day I was supposed to get my period. I was temping and when I saw that my temp was still up, I tested.

I'm sure 14 days is fine. Just remember though that the HPT doesn't tell you your Beta 1 level. If you do get a BFP remember they test your Beta 3 times to rule out a chemical pregnancy. T&P and a little baby dust to you.
