Could our NICU stay be ending?

After two months in the NICU, LO is eating well- she took 120 mls last night!!!  She has gone two days without a brady.  Other than a post-meal dose of Gaviscon, she isn't receiving any medications or other interventions.  She tipped the scales at 6 lb, 1 oz yesterday. 

Our hospital requires a seven day period with no bradys before discharge.  Could we really be five days from discharge?  I don't want to get too excited because I know what a rollercoaster ride the NICU is, but I can't help but think about walking through our front door with her very soon.  Wish us luck!!

    I hope so!  If she has another brady, I think you should ask the neo about coming home on a monitor.  Some babies don't grow out of that until 4-6 weeks after their due dates.   Hopefully that isn't the case your LO, but don't be afraid to push back on that number of days!
