XP: cramps on 6dp3det

Hi ladies! I am currently on my 2WW for my first IVF cycle and have a question for you all...

I  am having mild cramps during the 2WW and am 6 days past a 3 day embryo transfer. Hoping this is NOT AF and maybe implantation planting. Thoughts ladies?

My beta is this coming Tuesday. Hoping, praying, wishing....come on BFP!

  • There's really no way to know what the cause of your cramps is, but it does seem early for AF. I also had wicked AF-like cramps around 7-9dp3dt and had a total meltdown. Turns out, it was indeed implantation.  :)

  • To be honest, I didn't have any AF type cramps on my successful cycle, but I did have cramps of some other variety at 3dp6dt. It's difficult to explain what they felt like, but just like.. something was stretching and pulling and getting crazy in there.

For some people, AF type cramps are good, and for some people it's not, so you can't really know until you test, but I would definitely keep my fingers crossed and think positively! I hope it's implantation!

  • I did have mild, AF type cramps that started about 5 days post my 3 day transfer.  They have continued off and on to this day; I am now a little over 6 wks.  So, hopefully you too will have some good news soon :)
