Becco Butterfly II for Newborn?

Does it really work for a Newborn?  I know that structured carriers are often not the best for newborns.  I loved this carrier when I got it for DD and she was around 6 months.  I do have a Moby but they're so hot!  I'm wondering if I can get by with the Butterfly or if I should look into the Gypsy Bali stretch wrap again.

    I just got the BBII as well. Baby isn't due until May so I have no experience with it yet, but I've heard from a few people that it is great for newborns and that the infant insert is super helpful. Check out paxbaby.com (or their facebook page). The owner, Jillian, swears by the BBII for the newborn stage (she is a mom of 6) and she also has some helpful videos on youtube (as does Beco). I had a stretchy wrap for DD when she was a newborn, but this time around I plan on using the BBII and my new wrap conversion ring sling.
