Sunbaby diapers - anyone used them?

I currently use bum genius for my 16 month old & after many struggles I now love them, however we are expecting #2 in 9 weeks & I want to cloth diaper from the start this time but I found bg so bulky, a friend of mine has suggested Sunbaby as she can get them for me at an amazing price.  I want to know people's honest opinions about them - I do not want to buy them if they're not as good as other brands!!  Thanks so much ladies, I really value your opinion.

    I cannot speak from experience yet as I am a FTM and LO is not here yet,but I bought a few Sunbabies off of facebook.  They are really inexpensive and from what I have heard work pretty well. But with anything, you get what you pay for, so they may not last as long as some of the more popular, more expensive brands.

    They just started coming in two sizes that help to get a better fit with LO.  I would say to just get one or two and try them out.  If they don't work out, you aren't out much.

    DS was 8lbs and they did not fit immediately. The end of our first week home they fit great. They are trim. I love them. Haven't had any problems, no leaks! He wears them to bed too. I use them everyday.

    Thanks ladies, I'm sorry that I hadn't seen previous posts ... I sadly don't get the chance to come on here very often.  I think I'm going to give them a try but get some hemp inserts too ... I could also use some of my bum genius mf inserts if they don't hold up as well as I'd like.  I am hoping ds will be out of diapers this summer so I'll only need these for #2 for a short while.  Thanks again.

    No worries, I was just being lazy and didn't want to re-type up my review.  Stick out tongue

    Oh, one thing I forgot to mention, just as an FYI, shipping is free if you buy them from the Sunbabys website but it takes FOREVER for them to arrive.  I think they ship by boat from China so it easily takes 4-6 weeks for them to arrive after you have ordered them.  A week to leave China, a two or three weeks on the boat, a week in customs, and then up to a week via USPS.  The last batch I ordered I ordered them directly through their customer service at the end of July '11 and then didn't recieve the diapers until the middle of September.

    Since you mentioned using your BG MF I also wanted to mention that they have recently added two sizes to their OS option. They have a Size 1 OS and a Size 2 OS.  I have both and my BG inserts will not fit into a Size 1 OS  because they are narrower through the crotch but they would easily fit into a Size 2 OS.  The Size 2 OS are longer overall and wider through the crotch.  However, I was able to use the Size 1 OS earlier than the Size 2 because they are a lot trimmer and shorter lengthwise overall.

    Thank you!  I am so confused as to what to do right now, I'm starting to consider prefolds but am wondering about rashes.  Really, a big thank you for all the info.

    They're good, cheap diapers. They don't have very absorbent inserts, so I buy without the inserts and use BG or hemp or a prefold to stuff. I've been using them for maybe 15 mos no problems.
