Eggs yet?

Several of my friends IRL have already given eggs, either yolks or the whole thing. All of our babies are right around 8-9 months. Just curious, has anyone tried them yet? How did it go? I'm thinking maybe we'll try them soon, but I'm a little nervous.

We've tried them. I made scrambled eggs. DS wasn't too interested so I was going to try them again today, but DH didn't buy eggs like I told him to.

We started them just after 6m, she likes them. DH has scrambled eggs every morning so eats some of his.

I've thought about it, but our pediatrician told us to avoid egg whites until 1 year... I know other sources say they are fine, but I guess I'll listen to our pedi!

I asked my pedi if we could start them too, & he said not yet. He said yolks are OK, but not egg whites.

I did. LO loves to chew scrambled eggs.

My pedi didn't care but he doesn't worked about food issues at all unless there's an allergy history.

We tried it a couple days ago. Whole egg scrambled. She liked it. No issues.

DS tried scrambled eggs for the first time two days ago and then had them again yesterday. He absolutely loves them! I took him to the pedi for an ear infection on Thursday so I asked about eggs, pedi said he isnt too picky about just yolks or whites and it was ok to try the whole egg so thats what I did. DS had no reaction from them.
