DH and my second anniversary is coming up on March 13th and I have no idea what to get him. For background, last year I got him a leather work bag, for his birthday 2 years ago I got him a camera lens and photography lessons and this past year I got him an IPad 2.
Ideas please!!!!!
and no crystal, I am not going to do a budoir pic of me wearing nothing but coleslaw and pickles...
Re: Help- anniversary present ideas
LOL! Hmm, where ARE those pickles placed?
How about a business card holder? I know that I've seen really nice ones that I thought of buying DH. They had onyx inlay on the front, and they were made of some sort of shiny metal.
I got him a leather one a few years ago...
He actually hates massages, blasphemy, right!?
Sending him into NYC for a boys night at a steak house is an interesting idea...
Congrats to you too!
He still has 1 lesson that he hasn't used yet...
Whaaaaa? I think for our anniversary this year (4 years holy fack) I'm going to the man spa thing for MH. We have gotten massages together before but I'd like to get him a massage, back facial, razor shave.
HA! He actually really wants to learn how to fix cars, I wonder if there is anywhere to get lessons for that other than a trade school. He actually called a trade school to take a class and they said they wouldn't let him in if he wasn't planning on actually becoming a mechanic.
The only other thing he is dying to do is get shot out of a cannon, like in the circus. His friend called AmEx platinum to see if they could set it up for his bachelor party... they couldn't.
Yes, my husband is a farking lunatic.
I did couples massage for our first valentine's day... afterwards he told me he doesn't like massages... And he is a PITA with grooming stuff, he has gotten a razor shave and doesn't think they do it well... Maybe I should just get him another series of laser hair removal for his back, he needs it!
What about trapeze or glass blowing lessons?

Oh just wanted to add, that I bought DH a multi tool for Christmas. He is the lease mechanically inclined man on the planet and he uses his every single day.
If your H is into cars, there is this BMW performance drive school thing where members get to test drive crazy cars. I have looked into it for H, but I've never purchased a class.
I usually end up buying H nice shoes or clothes. I've also gotten him sporting equipment (a new stand up paddleboard for christmas).
I like the cigars idea or maybe some nice scotch?
That is illegal and I absolutely do not have an uncle that knows how to get them.
Where is the BMW thing? My friend is getting married in Napa next summer and DH wants to do the Audi driving school in Sonoma.
And I have never gotten any e-mails from a store in St Maarten that ships them to you, nor have I ever bought anything from there!
I think it might be in Charlotte, NC, but I'm not positive.
I love him, but I'm not flying him to NC... he can wait until Sonoma.
We did traditional too - so I:
1) Got my husband tickets to a concert and taped them to a "cotton" concert t-shirt.
2) Booked a surprise weekend in the mountains and gave him "cotton towels" to bring to the cabin.
If he likes cigars, does he have a freestanding humidor? I got one for my husband for our anniversary this year and it won me big points.
I got him a really nice humidor as a wedding gift, that's why I was thinking maybe the cigars.
