Me!!!!  I never do, always mean to but forget... but today has been one heck of a day so I popped the cork at 5, sharp.

    I had two sips of wine (I might get some more later), with two dark chocolate truffles, a hot shower, and an ibuprofen. I have had a killer backache since around 3pm that will not go away.

    :-D. Two light drinks so far and the heavier stuff is on the way.  I don't drink much either and am over due.....

    I'm drinking...and its been a while for me. I'm having a Shiner Wild Hare Pale Ale and it is horrible. I assumed that before I bought it. I have got to stop giving Shiner a chance.

    I've never even seen that!  Now I feel guilty because I am quite faithful to my Sam Adams....  But it sounds light.  Is it?

    mmm I wouldn't say light per se. Its not the typical heavier lager-ish beer Sam is known for - but its not like drinking water either. It has a citrusy taste. Its really smooth like a bock

    It's Mardi Gras weekend!!! I'll be indulging until Wednesday. I will probably have a frozen cocktail for breakfast Tuesday. I love this time of year! I'm bumping during a parade pause now :)

    It is light tasting for a full bodied beer and I think it has a touch of a fruity taste to it. It's really good!

    I hate all things Shiner.

    IPAs are my favorite so I  decided I needed to try it, but I should have known better. I just dumped the last half and traded in for my ol' standby, Dale's Pale Ale.

    *sigh* I think IRL you and I would get along great....but I don't think we could share a 6-pack.  :)

    And twh (sp?), I forgot that is where you are.  Have a fun weekend!  Since you live there, do you go out at all or just celebrate at home?

    Absolutely. It's been an extremely long week and DD2 has worn me out between teething and being sick.
