boo--ripped maternity jeans :-(
My favorite pair of maternity jeans ripped when I was putting them on this morning. (I swear they are not too tight!) I was in a hurry and kind of fell to the side as I was pulling them up and when I took a step to steady myself, the area right by the fake fly ripped. And not even on a seam! just the middle of the fabric!!
I am so mad because they were SUPER comfy and also one of the cuter pairs of maternity jeans I have. And I had hoped to get some postpartum use out of them, too. I'm going to see if I can patch them, but the spot that ripped will be tough to fix.
when they ripped, I told DH "okay, maybe I should just let the doctor induce me today...now I don't have cute jeans to wear!" (I kid...)

Ugh, that sucks. I have one pair of maternity jeans that I wear all the time; if something happened to them, I would be devastated. That said, they are on the verge of ripping because they are too tight. Putting them on after they've been in the dryer is always precarious, though that's getting to be the case with all my clothes. It doesn't do much for my self esteem!
Hopefully you can patch them up somehow that's ok! It'll be like college!
I was so sad to give away my fave maternity jeans, even though we are done having kids. They were just really awesome jeans!

I would be in serious mourning. When the initial excitement about this pregnancy calmed down, I suddenly remembered my fabulous jeans from when I was pregnant with DS and got excited all over again! Hope you can find a way to salvage them!
