Waverly Is Here!!

I went in Monday morning for a scheduled c/s. It went beautifully! Waverly was born at 12:28 pm, weighing in at 8 lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long. She was perfect and had no issues with her blood sugars( I had GD.)

I am recovering very well! I was up, walking, and took a shower on Tuesday. The recovery process has been a breeze, and I am so thankful! The worst part has been that my feet and lower legs have been super swollen. The doctor gave me some medication to take to help the swelling go down. It's working so far. I also had an allergic reaction to the surgical tape, and have an itchy rash.

Waverly is perfect, rarely cries at all, and is a wonderful baby. She only gets upset if she needs a new diaper or wants to eat. I feel so blessed, and my husband and I are so in love with her.  

I wanted to thank each and every one of you for all the advice and words of encouragement over the past months.
