How early is too early to get a bfp? Today I tested with a First response early response test, it was negative. I'm 5 days early, but the test said up to 6 days early... So should I take that answer as truth and save my money or go buy more tests and test closer to my period date?

    I would wait and test again in a few days.

    Wait a few days and test again. I tested 5 days before my period was due with a first Response and got a BFN - 2 days later BFP!  You're not out yet!!!!

    I tested with First Response four days before my expected period and got a negative. I tested again the day I was suppose to get and got a positive. I would wait until the day you're expecting your period and try again.

    I agree that you should wait a few days. The 6 days before is not true for everyone. If I tested 6 days before my missed period, I would have been at 3DPO.

    You have to remember that there is a high percentage of false negatives, but a very low percentage of false positives...that means, if you get a negative, you really should test again. My advice, just wait until your expected AF. Like one girl said earlier...it gets expensive if you keep testing!!

    I tested with Wondfos at 9 DPO and got a negative but got a positive the next day 10 DPO about 5 days before my missed period. I confirmed with a FRER that day and it was very clear. I would retest in a few days.

    I tested 6 days before my missed period and it was a bfn. So I waited til it was just 2 days before my missed period and I got a BFP! If you are worried, I would wait til the day of your actual missed period to test if you don't get AF! Crossing my fingers for you! Good luck!!
