Great ped apt today!

LO was 8 lbs 11oz at birth and lost 10% of his weight by the time we left the hospital...3 days later due to c-section. We went to the dr Tuesday, and we had to supplement with formula after each feeding. Today we had a weight check, and he gained 6 oz in 3 days!!! No more supplementing!!

    Thats awesome! DS was down 8 oz by the time we left the hospital but 10 days later he was up 10 oz. BF babies grow quick!

    Yay!!! I was worried about breastfeedinh LO as he was only 6 lbs 15oz at birth and I knew he would lose some weight while in the hospital.  He only lost 3oz while in the hospital and already gained it back at 4 days old!  I guess he was getting all he needed while in the hospital and there is no doubt he is getting what he needs now.  Happy growing!
