What a horrible experience (long)

So this has been a crazy last couple of days. On Wednesday we ran out of bottled water, which is what I usually drink, so I woke up that morning knowing I needed to get some but I really wanted to get a few things done first, bad idea. So I had some juice that morning but no water, I didn't end up going out for water until 12:30 pm. I know I could have had some water from the faucet but I just never did. I guess I was so busy I didn't realize how thirsty I really was.

So when I got into my car I realized that I was a little out of it, so I knew I needed to get some water in me soon. Well on my way to the grocery store near us I was turning at a light and I guess I thought the lead green was on, it was not, it was just a green light (I honestly don't remember what happen or why I turned, I was really out of it) well there was a car coming straight toward me that I don't remember seeing and it crashed right into my passenger side.

What a horrible experience! I was so shocked what I had just done, I started screaming, "my baby, my baby", I was so scared I really thought I had hurt her. Some people stopped and helped me until the ambulance got there. The other person who hit me was not hurt so that was good. They took me right to the hospital and checked me out quickly and determined that I had no major injuries so they sent me straight to L&D, which I was so happy that they sent me there quickly. I was only worried about my little girl.

Well, I ended up spending the night in L&D so they could monitor her for 24 hrs. She looked great the entire time!! I was so happy to see that! I got great movement from her the entire time. I am very bruised up and I was in horrible pain the day after but I am just so happy that God protected my little girl. The accident did not push me into labor so that was good too. I just can?t believe I was that absentminded and made that horrible mistake. But I am just glad that we are both ok and I can finish out the next few weeks of pregnancy and hopefully have a very healthy little girl!
