I did something stupid now I'm worried

God I'm the worst mom ever. Was feeding dd and she didn't want her bottle so I grabbed cereal and decided to make her that. She ate about 7 big spoonfuls and then I realized I had accidentally used the milk from a bottle from last night at9. Omg they were both green bottles and I didn't realize I feel so bad and stupid. Do u think I need to call pedi or just see if she seems ok throughout the day?

Called pedi. They said it should be ok but to bring her in if she vomits or has diarrhea. God I feel so awful

I would just see how she does and wouldn't call the pediatrician unless vomiting or diarrhea occurred. Of course, if they do...you probably know why and don't really need to call the ped.

Don't be so hard on yourself. We have the occassional night bottle sitting around the next morning too. We've never fed it to DD but I could see it happening.

In a year from now you'll laugh at yourself. I hope your day turns around.

Forgive yourself. It was an accident. Most likely, she'll be fine and you're watching her and know the cause immediately if she starts to get sick.

Thank you ladies! She seems ok so far but if she does get sick I will feel soo awful, it's hard not to be hard on myself because it is my fault... Hopefully she won't get sick.

I'm sure it's fine. I gave DD bad milk one time, and she wouldn't have it. As soon as it went in, she spat it right out. There's a pretty good probability that the wilk wasn't even bad to begin with. If it was really bad, it would taste bad, and she probably wouldn't have eaten it.

Isn't formula good in the fridge for 24hrs anyways? If it wasn't even 12hrs old I wouldn't worry about it.

Thank you. I feel better and she didn't get a tummy ache yay! I am going to be way more careful now though!
