February 2012 Moms

I look like a crazy person...

I look like a crazy person...40+ weeks pregant, no makeup & a messy ponytail. I'm in real clothes, but I really wanted to keep my PJ pants on to run some errands.

I am past the point of caring what the people at Target or the oil change place think of me. LOL!

Re: I look like a crazy person...

  •    Haha! No judgment here! I know EXACTLY what you mean! I'm a stay at home mom to a four year old and am 38 weeks pregnant. Unless I'm going out, I usually stay in my scrubs, afterall, all I do is clean while she's at school anyways. So, when I take my daughter down to catch the school bus at 11:45 a.m., I'm pretty sure her bus driver thinks I must be the laziest person in the world! And honestly, I DON'T CARE! LOL!

  • I am about to go out to Target and CVS to pick up some pictures for my scarpbook. I am wearing sweats, and DH oversized t-shirt. No make up and the messiest of ponytails. I don't care, I am just ready to have this baby already. I dare some one to say something to me.

  • LOL the title of this post reminds me of Liz Lemon last night on 30 Rock! I think as long as we don't look like that we're doing okay. I just went to lunch with my mom and was horrified when I looked in the full length mirror- my cute LBD from 1st and 2nd trimesters is def. NOT meant to be worn at 39 weeks.... lesson learned.
  • lol, I'm with you there, and have been since I finished work last week. It's winter here, so I can totally get by with not doing my hair at all, and wearing a hat to cover it up. I stay in my pj's all day, and if I need to go out, I put a coat over my pyjama top, and just put jeans on to pretend that I'm actually dressed.
  • LOL, my DH came home the other day and my hair was blown out and I actually had on regular clothes. He asked me what was wrong?.. Kinda bad when my PJ's and robe are the norm and me looking like an actual member of society is abnormal.

  • I have been wearing my slippers everywhere for four months now. Last week I spent so many days not taking a shower that dread locks were forming on the back of my head.

  • I am still working so I have to somewhat get dressed and it makes me wanna cry every morning. It is so hard to get dressed and NOTHING fits.

I have been wearing nursing scrubs to work as slacks and T-shirts. Occasionally I wear DH's T-shirts when I know I wont have any meetings and wont be leaving my office. I feel like such a bum compared to the ladies all dressed up in heals and skirts, with their hair all done and make up perfect. Then again I dont care, if I could wear my pjs to work and not get fired I would!!
