I don't post here much, but I read a lot! I just need to step out of the shadows to vent for one minute. I feel like this baby is never going to be ready to come out! And everybody makes it ten times worse by constantly commenting. If one more person comes up to me and says "So you still haven't had that baby yet?" I'm going to punch them. My MIL is driving me batty. As soon as I was one day overdue she started going on and on about how I was going through exactly what she went through when she had her baby 2 weeks late and on and on and how since I didn't deliver on my due date I was sure to have a baby 2 weeks late. LISTEN HERE, woman, pretty sure only 3% of babies come on their due date, so stop watching me and waiting for this kettle to boil!

    I'll join you on the whine wagon. My kid is due today, and she shows no sign of making an appearance soon. As difficult as it is for me, I've grudgingly accepted that she's going to be late. My own mom isn't making it any easier, though. Just yesterday she told me, "You have to have this baby by Sunday, otherwise you'll have to wait until the beginning of next week." Meaning, the 27th. Why? Because she decided to schedule a vacation for the week after her first granddaughter's due date. Sure, Mom - I'll see what I can do. Gah!!!

    As if it's about them at all, right?! I suspect our moms have completely forgotten what it was like to be pregnant and miserably huge as a house, and they just have no idea how to make us feel less stressed out right now. MIL keeps calling my husband to ask for news, as if we're going to forget to tell her we've had the baby. Ugh!
