ideas for childrens books?

Hi Ladies, I have a new pregnancy ambition.  My hubby and I are both artists and I have been really "craving" some time to paint and create and I am thinking about doing a line of home made books to write and "illustrate"  I am having a hard time coming up with ideas (except for one about my cats and their thoughts on pregnancy) any one have any ideas or things they would have liked to have a book on for their LO? all input welcome! TIA

    We live outside of town and we have a lot of animals that come into our yard, such as deer, birds, squirrels, a family of turkeys, and maybe even the occasional bear.  Maybe it would be fun to tell stories about the lives and families of all of these different animals.  Maybe this idea will lead you to some others as well.  Good luck with your story creating.

    Hey thanks! that would be cute, I want to focus a lot on the paintings, but I want a story to go with it and I keep drawing blanks.  We love animals anyway and that would definitely be something to run with!
