Cowbell(s) acquired. Thanks!

DH is running the Austin 1/2 and the boys and I are planning to trek around to catch him in a few spots.

I was hoping to find a cowbell (or something similar) for the boys to ring in hopes that it will buy me at least 10 min in a spot before they're bored.

    Hobby Lobby sells them in the back towards the jewelry stuff and by the mum supplies.

    If you get desperate, my mom has one from my race last year...I can go over to her house and dig it up for you if you need!

    Thanks for the offer, Libby, but no need! I'll check out Hobby Lobby and if it's not there, then we'll find some other "music maker" in the house (I'm thinking pots and a spoon).

    Em was a cow for Halloween when she was 2 and that is where I got hers. I want to say it was like $3-5

    We've got one from Miller's annoying UT football fan days.  It is loud and obnoxious and you're welcome to borrow.

    I've found them in party stores--Party City, for example.  (I may be getting the name wrong--it's on the southbound access road of 183 btwn Duval and Braker, I think, next to Petsmart.)

    For my last half I got some for my boys at the race expo. Team in training had a booth and they were giving them away for a small donation.
