Question for pumping moms

How much pumped breastmilk does your baby take in a feeding and how old are they? DD is just about 2 weeks old and I just started pumping and bottle feeding. Sometimes she only wants 2 ounces and other times she takes up to 4. Just wondering how much you all are feeding.

DD is only 5 days and she is the same way...she can be at the breast for over 30 minutes or just eat an ounce...but she eats frequently so that makes me feel ok about it...

We offer 3 ounces at each feeding . We feed on demand and he's hungry every 3 hours during the day/evening and 5-6 hours at night. 95% of the time he finishes it. At night he usually is hungry for more about an hour or two later but that's a normal cluster feed.

My LO is 2 weeks tomorrow and is exactly the same. never less than 2 or more than 4, depending. I'm having a hard time keeping up and am forced to supplement with formula at least 2-3 times a day

My LO will be 2 weeks on Monday. My SIL is a pediatric intensivist with 3 kids under 5. She pumped, so I asked her because LO started having milk come out of his nose during burping and not wanting to eat much for a couple feedings. She said to not offer him more than 2-2.5 ounces at this age or it is over-feeding, which can lead to reflux (the milk coming out of his nose), etc. So I am going by what she says...

DS is a little over 2 weeks and he usually eats about 3 oz when I pump. I usually only put 2-3 oz in a bottle and if he wants more I'll give him another oz. but never more than 4 oz.

2 oz. sometimes less. If she wants more ill wait awhile to make sure and offer a half ounce.

Cruiz is a week old and never eats more than 3 oz every three hours. We have given more one time and he threw most of it back up. 3 oz really seems to do the trick. I'm also pumping every three-four hours and usually get about 5 oz between both breasts. So we are stock piling nicely, haha.
