new pump parts for baby2?

I'm still nursing (but not pumping) for DD. She nurses in the morning only right now. I have been a SAHM for DD1 but will need to go back to work after DD2 arrives. I hardly pumped at all for DD1 (maybe a total of 30-60 times). I have the Avent double electric pump. Do I really need to replace the tubing and such? Thoughts? Experience?

Replace tubing if dirty, no need to replace other parts unless you think it's necessary, IMO. You may also want to ask on the breastfeeding board.

I would not replace parts. I personally didn't I thought it would be a waste of money. As long as it was cleaned and stored in a proper place you will be fine.

I pumped a whole lot more than that and I am not replacing the parts. I will rewash everything, even though it was clean and stored in plastic bags. I did get new tubing, b/c it's too difficult to clean that.

I cleaned all parts religiously w/ DD and have extra tubing so I do not plan on getting new parts as of now. However I am considering upgrading to a double to save time.

Thank you! Since I rarely used it, I wasn't great about cleaning regularly so I should probably replace the tubing : ( Thanks for the tips ladies!!
