  Hello! Sorry about having to take Provera...I also took the 10 day dosage to end a 160 day cycle.

  I honestly had no side effects while taking the pill. My period came 3 days after finishing the last pill, and it was probably one of the worst periods I've ever had in my life. Like, top 3 for sure.

  Also, from the moment my period started, my breasts were severely tender and achy, and stayed that way the whole way until my next period. It was awful. DH wasn't allowed to come near me, and it made me cringe to wear a bra.

  Other than that, it wasn't too bad. Every woman is different, of course, so you might not have any side effects.

  I knew I was leaving someone out in my "you are so amazingly patient" compliment a bumpie compliment.  So, here it is for you...so happy you are finally getting a new cycle kick started. You are so positive and patient. GL for you this coming cycle!

  I took Provera to end a cycle. I started spotting about 5 days after I finished. I had 9 days of heavy spotting but never really had a flow. Provera made me really tired. It also made my breasts feel very sensitive and swollen. They still don't seem normal so 'breast tenderness' is no longer a possible pregnancy symptom for as I have it all the time. I hope it jump starts your cycle. It did for me.

  I've taken it twice.  It wasn't bad at all really.  I spotted a few days before then had a period for about 5 days. GL, I hope your cycles become regular!

  I took a 12 day dose and other than it making me really sleepy and maybe a little moody, I didn't have any side effects.  I started spotting on day 11, spotted for a couple of days, had a normal to light AF for 6 days.  It wasn't bad at all.  I have had AF's on BCP that were much worse.  FX that you have that experience!
