DD is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow

Some of you may recall me asking about a black spot on DD's tongue a couple months ago. I had it checked by a dermatologist, who then referred me to an ENT, who then admitted to not knowing exactly what it was. Her words "It doesn't seem malignant, but there's no saying what it could turn into down the road". So yeah, we're having it removed.
It's not major surgery, but still. It's surgery. On my baby.

Interesting. I've never seen that before. I am glad you are getting it removed just in case.
