Anyone get pg, having several embryos at 5dt, but no frosties?

Just looking for some hope/success stories?

Has anyone had a decent number of embryos at day 5, transfer, then find out the next day that the rest didn't make it to freeze??

Yesterday, I had 8 embryos, RE said 6 were still in really good shape, we transferred 3.  Today none made it freeze :(  And this worries me that the ones inside are crappy too.

TTC Since 10/2007 with no luck and a 'go with the flow' attitude
1/1010 FINALLY decided to have testing done, dx MFI
7/2010 - DH starts Clomid to increase testosterone and hopefully sperm count
10/2010 - Still low (but improved) sperm count.
11/30/10 - IUI #1 and only = BFN
February 2011 - IVF #1 w/ ICSI =
Chemical PG (Beta 1: 10, Beta 2: 19, Beta 3: 17) :-(
April 2011 - IVF #2 w/ ICSI = BFN :-(
September 2011 - IVF #3 w/ ICSI = BFFN
November 2011 - AMH level tested - .83 (normal for age range)
February 2012 - IVF #4 w/ ICSI = (best response ever yet still) BFFN
April 2012 - DNA testing - NORMAL, RE suggests cycling again with own eggs or using DE
On Break indefinitely...not sure we can afford the emotional and financial roller coaster anymore.

    Close. We had five on day 5, transferred one, then only two made it to freeze. Sometimes what makes them viable for transfer does not meet the criteria for freezing. I'm so sorry.

    I didn't have frosties with either of my cycles, but I got pregnant with both. GL!
    MFI and (now) AMA
    IVF 1 April 2011 - Cancelled
    IVF 1.5 July 2011 - MC
    IVF 2 October 2011 - BFP!
    *Identical Twin Boys born June 2012*
    Here we go again...IVF 3 is underway!

    I had 5 good ones on day 5 this time. We transferred two and thought we'd have at least one frostie, but got the call on day 6 that none of the remaining three met freezing standards. I'm pregnant with a singleton. Good luck!!

    I didn't have any frosties and transferred 2 on Day 3. I'm pregnant with a singleton. Good luck!  I was freaking out after the news that none made it to freeze, but it only takes one. :)
    Aug 11 - Nov11: IUI #1,2,3 & 4 BFN
    Jan 12: IVF #1 - BFP!

    I've never made it to day 5.  Keep in mind they transfer the best looking ones.  Hoping this is your cycle!

    Thought I'd chime in....I had 6 fertilized after retrieving 9...3 were considered "slow growing" on day 3 so they cancelled my cycle back in November 2011.  We waited until January to do a FET with the only one remaining that made it to freeze.  I'm now 6 weeks pregnant with my "slow grower" that wasn't even graded that high...keep the faith!

    Your numbers are better than mine. I had 7 on day 3 transfer. By day 5 two made it to blast but they weren't good enough quality to freeze. And one stuck!!! So don't lose hope!! They transfer the very best of the bunch!!!

    I wad totally devastated that I had none to freeze, since this was my last shot. I was also terrified. But, it worked for me and I'm hoping and praying it will for you!!! My fingers are crossed for you!!

    3/06 - m/c 1st baby at 6 weeks 
    5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    My first cycle we transferred 3, had none to freeze and I became pregnant with a singleton.  We just did another cycle and transferred 2, we had 3 we were hoping to freeze but got the call the next day they didn't make it.  I was worried as well that the ones we transferred wouldn't make it but I am now pregnant with twins.

    We transferred 2 blasts, and I had 2 others that looked great on day 5 that they were watching for freeze.  They didn't make it.  I know it's hard, but don't try to relate the ones that were put back with those that didn't make it to freeze.  I don't think one has anything to do with the success of the other.  Good luck to you!
