Any helpful tips or suggestions from those of you who have registered already? I realize we won't get everything done in one trip, and I'm sure we'll edit things online over the next few weeks after our initial visit to the store, but still...I'm so excited! I can't believe we actually get to register for BABY stuff. There were many, many days I never thought we'd ever have a need for anything "baby" in our house while going through all the IF treatments.
So if you've registered and looking back said, "I wish I had known _____", please let me know! ![]()
Thanks!

it's so exciting!!! i'm still changing things on mine LOL
remember when registering for onesies, make sure to do a bunch in all different sizes, so that way you have clothes past the newborn stage lol
DH had fun test "driving" all the strollers lol it was a fun time! i'm actually dropping off my registry cards to my sister tomorrow she said she needs them, so i'm guessing there's shower planning going on woohoo! lol
have lots of fun!!!! and don't worry, you can always go back and change/update things that you forget, and most places give you a basic "guide" of essentials too!
enjoy!!!

Lessons learned from my first...
My favorite non-standard baby products from DD's time as a newborn were
(1) SwaddleMe velcro swaddling blankets (we had like 8 and used 2 at a time so that she wouldn't break free),
(2) an exercise ball (much easier to hold her while on sitting on that then pacing up and down the hallways all night); and
(3) an Angelcare Monitor (totally gave me peace of mind, I would have been nutso without it).
Our babies have loved:
1) Triple Fun Exersaucer-you can use it as a play mat first, exersaucer second, and a play item third. It grows with them.
2) Halo swaddlesacks-we tried the swaddlemes, and they just outgrew them/they stopped keeping their arms in at night way too early. We liked the access of the Halo ones as well.
3) Fisher-price kick and play piano-they LOVE it. I just wish it had a plug (rather than batteries).
4) Fisher-price seahorse. They both love them!
5) Pottery Barn hooded towels-they are well worth the extra money to get. They just feel so much better than the ones sold elsewhere.
6) JJ Cole canopy cover- it covers the baby and it makes me feel a little bit better-people don't try and touch as much!!!
I'll try and see if anything else comes up that was outside of the recommended most people had!
