I have a CL ad but cant seem to get any bites on my lot of baby clothes. I have over 100 pieces up for $100 ....is that too much to be asking? I checked out a consignment store but they only offer credit in store, not cash. Any advice? Theres so much stuff Id hate to just give it away
Re: What to do with all these baby clothes??
Do you have any consignment sales in your area that aren't stores? For example, where I am there's an organization that does not have a store but 2 or 3 times per year, they organize big consignment sales. You earn 60%, or more if you volunteer your time to help out, on what you sell and then you can either pick up what doesn't sell or they'll donate it for you.
Another idea - are you selling the lot for $100? Maybe breaking it up into smaller sizes and smaller dollar amounts would help.

~ Surprise pregnancy at age 40! Baby boy due April 26, 2021 (took prometrium to sustain once pregnancy was confirmed, 3rd C-Section planned).
hmm I will check into that. I did offer in the ad to sell pieces individually and I did list a breakdown of items I have n the ad.
Tell me more about the Etsy thing. How did you find this person, etc?
That seems like a lot to me, I sold most of our clothes at a yard sale last summer. Most things I sold 2 for $1. Better outfits I got like $2 max. People just don't seem to want to buy used baby clothes- I think baby clothes are so inexpensive people want them dirt cheap.
I have learned its not worth it to sell them- I just donate them now and document it for our taxes. You could look into consigment sales, but that just seems like a lot of work to me, and they want the very high end clothing, at least in my town.
