When I am home, I am wearing yoga pants, a hooded sweatshirt and a nursing bra/tank. When I go out (which isn't often) I am still in maternity jeans or leggings. Trying not to feel super gross in these outfits (doesn't help that showering isn't happening on a daily basis!). Wondering if I am alone in this or if this is normal for the first month or so PP.

Re: Clothing doldrums...anyone else?
I lived in maternity pants for the first three weeks post-partum. I can now "fit" in my pre-pregnancy jeans but I have some muffin top going on. I only have 5 pounds or so to lose to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight but it DOES NOT look like "just" 5 pounds.
We have plenty of time and anyone who judges us for being pudgy after having a baby last month needs to shove it!

I feel the same way, I'm wearing pants with an elastic waistband around the house. Yesterday I went to my 6 week OB appointment and I actually put make-up on and felt normal for once! I'm planning on meeting my girlfriends for dinner next month and am looking forward to wearing something with a non-elastic waistband and something other than a sweatshirt.
It took your body 9 months to get this way, and you should give yourself 9 months, if not more, to get it back the way it was. It will never be exactly the same. Living in sweatpants is totally normal right now. This first month especially you are at the beck and call of your child and no one should expect you to have time to pick out a flattering outfit.
You're in this weird in-between stage where you're not pregnant, but you're not a set size yet. Soon you'll be out of it and will have time to put on something that makes you feel more 'you'.
