LOL. DD was sent home from daycare because she was vomiting and having diarrhea. A stomach bug was going around her school, so I wasn't surprised it hit her - just surprised that she could vomit 8 times in 3 hours plus 4 diarrhea diapers!
When my son was sick, he would drink the pedialite. DD won't touch it and is screaming for miilk. I don 't want to give it to her. Anyone have any other suggestion on what a sick toddler can drink to keep them hydrated if they won't drink pedialite?
Thanks!

I wouldn't stress too much. Pedialyte is mostly just water, sugar, and salt. It's just meant to keep them hydrated and their electrolytes in balance, not actually provide nutrition.
Def try to pops, though.
Maybe try giving pedialyte in a medicine dropper? I had the same experience with my DD this weekend, she wouldn't drink it and just wanted her milk. I didn't think of the medicine dropper till she was feeling better. I talked to my pedi and she said to offer 1 oz of milk at a time, wait 15 minutes to see if she keeps it down, then offer a little more. It worked for us. Good luck!
PS - I caught the stomach bug a few days later, so don't forget to wash your hands!!

This is a great idea! I would have never thought of the medicine dropper. And on the PS part, I've been washing like crazy - I said to my DH that I can't catch the bug- I have so many meetings at work next week that I cancelled to be home for dd. I can't cancel because I"m sick!! Sorry you caught the bug- they're not fun.
