Sorry Ladies, can we make one of these!?

I have a few! I am so sick of mucus plug posts! I don't think I am going to loose mine or I haven't yet. Also, 30-36 week pregger mommas thinking they are getting close while we start to go overdue! I guess it is just my silly brain being all rude and stuff.

Alrright ladies, let's hear them!

Not typically one to sounds off harsh opinions, but these two topics have miffed my pregnancy hormones today!

in law posts- the desire of in-laws to be present when baby arrives is not a wish rooted in evil, undermining, thoughts or ideas- these people just want to see the newest light of their lives and congratulate the new mom and dad. Even if the relationship has been rocky - there's no time like the present to change the tone

BF-ing Nazis - BFing is a wonderful experience for new mamas and babies, however, not everyone can BF, and I think its even more important to remember that its the quality of time and attention that you give you LO that makes you a good mother, not the mouth to nipple time.

I'm sick and tired of the "I'm so done being pregnant" whining... you got yourself this way, deal with it.

I think Neville Longbottom is extremely underrated.

Also, I really don't mind still being pregnant. At most, I've got about three weeks left before my OB starts pushing hard to evict LO. The worst part of it is work, and even that's not so bad. I'm perfectly happy waiting for LO to come on her own.

Agreed! And this may seem mean but flying flags at half staff for a singer seems ridiculous to me. Granted she was talented but really?! Sorry if I offend anyone with that opinion.

Totally agree about Neville as well. I LOVE the character.

And, totally agree about the flags at half-staff for Houston. The only way I'd be halfway ok with this is if we flew the flags at half-staff every day that we lose a soldier to the war. (and I'm NOT sorry if I offend anyone with this opinion! Big Smile )

It's not mean, but they are flying the flags because of her inspirational rendition of the Star Spangled Banner during the 1 week of the 1st Gulf War.

Diddo. But really just nazi's in general. I try really hard to throw out new ideas, but to not force feed my opinion on everyone.

I'm going to start by saying that I am in a bad mood.

Over the posts..."Am I close?" ,"Is this it?", etc. Only a doctor can tell you that.

Over the posts..."I'm so uncomfortable at 37 weeks".. wait until your 40+

This. We lost my MIL to cancer last February and it's been extrememly hard on us lately (especially DH). If she was still alive I would have paid for her flight from Florida to Ohio to make sure she was here to witness the birth of her first grandchild! DH's grandma (MIL's mom) lives near us, and although she is bat s*** crazy (even DH agrees lol) we are going to make sure she spends as much time with LO as possible!
