Wool over a pocket?

My LO has recently become a heavier wetter and in combination with her skinny legs, double stuffing our BG results in occasional leaking, especially when she is on her side at night.

I have made a couple pairs of upcycled wool pants, and was thinking of putting these over the BG until I get the chance to buy an overnight fitted option(I don't know which kind to get, I am indecisive, haha). Anyone try wool over a pocket with success?

We do. I was having a ton of issues with getting ammonia stink out of my fitteds I was using ON (still haven't figured the problem between hardwater/rinsing/detergent) so until then we use BG 4.0s stuffed with hemp inserts. They do alright most of the night on their own, but DS is a super wiggly/stomach and side sleeper so occasionally we were getting compression leaks. We started putting a wool soaker over the pocket and under his sleeper and no more leaks. We have also done wool longies and long sleeved shirts too. He's also been rash free so if there isn't much airflow its not hindering anything since he sleeps ~ 12 hours/night.

I use a wool cover over BG pockets every night on DS. I have only used a fitted am wool once overnight. I'm still testing that out on his long afternoon naps.
