Sea World with an Infant

Next month my husband is heading to San Diego on business and we've decided that our son and I will tag along. I would like to go to Sea World with him. Is this totally crazy? I haven't been to a park like this in forever so I'm not sure if this is a really bad idea. I figure he loves watching our dog and is very observant now so I thought he would enjoy seeing the animals. I'm curious as to what other mothers with a child this age think. Would you take your little one to Sea World at this age?

I took our LO to the zoo around 4 months old and he loved it. He is also a very observant little guy and was mesmorized by the elephants and big crocodiles. He did get fussy after about an hour and a half though.

We would definitely go, but we'd leave the stroller at home. Hiking backpacks work wonders at crowded places like parks. I never have to worry about someone snatching the boy, I don't ever run over people with my stroller, and this isn't a place where you're going to be taking him out of the backpack frequently.

I say go for it. It should be fun.

I think it would be fun! I would definitely do it with a carrier instead of a stroller, like PP's mentioned.

I would totally go! Or go to the SD zoo, or both! DD loves looking at fish and animals so we have done the zoo and aquarium a few times. We are going to SD twice this summer (DH and I went to college there and are going back for weddings) and are definitely taking DD to Sea World one trip and the zoo the next. Granted she will be a litte bit older by then but I would totally take her today if I was down there! Have a great time!

We took baby E to the Ren Fest when she was very young and it was great. We used the moby but she loves her stroller because it gives her freedom to stretch and play with more toys so I would be the one annoying people with my huge stroller.
