Shower slip up....

I just got off the phone with one of my analysts here at work (she works at home).  She asked me if I was excited about the baby and I said yes and then she said she didn't even know I was pregnant until she got the shower invitation......  at that point I could tell she didn't know this was supposed to be a surprise so I acted as if I know all about it but I had no clue they were planning to throw a shower for me.  I don't know when it will be so now I'm walking on pins and needles waiting and wondering when they will spring it on me............ oh my nerves!!!
Trying for baby #2 since May 2010. DX elevated prolactin. Clomid round 1-50mg=BFN. Clomid round 2-100mg = BFN. Began taking Cabergoline and prolactin levels regulated. July IUI#1= BFN. Break cycle for August and BFP on 8/26/11! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker BabyFruit Ticker

    Cool! That should be fun! When I first read the subject of your thread, I worried you might have fallen in the shower LOL! I am glad you didn't :-)

    Glad to hear it's better news.  I can understand how nerve wracking that can be!  Something similar happened to me at my office with my bridal shower!

    That's fun!  I'm kind of in the same boat.  My office's baby showers have traditionally be "surprise" parties...so I have no idea if/when to expect one at work.  I'm sure it'll end up being on a day that I look like crap...haha :p

    My bridal shower was supposed to be a suprise.  FOUR people slipped and  told me about it!!! LOL  Including my own mom!  She forwarded me an email where she was talking to a friend of the family and told her about my shower.  Too funny!!!

    I absolutely know my mother and others will plan a shower for me, especially since my mom and I did the shower for my sister in law a little over a year ago. Even so, it's exciting to wonder when it will be and what they will plan for the festivities.

    As for a work shower, I am self employed so no such luck there. hahaha

    Enjoy your "surprise" shower...whenever it is!
