I thought I was back to my regular ole 28 day cycle, and then I went and bragged to my RE that I was having 28 day cycles, and my body decided to give me the middle finger. So, today (CD37), I finally started my period. Wahoo!
My RE told me to call with CD1 so that I could schedule my SHG, so I'm all scheduled for Monday morning.
At the earliest, our FET will be in May because I want to make it a year for breastfeeding (DD's birthday is 4/22), and then we are heading to Barcelona to see the in-laws in late April / early May. So, depending on when my cycle after that starts, we'll get moving. No BCPs in my protocol. She wants to monitor me and then aim to do the transfer around CD21 after estrogen to prime my lining followed by progesterone.
Anyone have experience with this protocol for an FET? Any input? Thanks!
Re: TTC #2: AF FINALLY here; SHG Monday; FET ?s
Exciting!
We didn't wait until CD21 for my transfers - they just checked my lining every day as we got closer to potential transfer day. Otherwise we did the same thing, and I found my FET cycles to be soooo much more relaxed than my fresh cycles.
That's what we'll be doing too. I'm sorry for not being more clear. She threw out CD21 as an estimate, but they'll be monitoring me along the way to decide when to make the transfer.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
I did a natural FET, sound similar. Monitor for surge, and check lining. Transfer is 5days after natural O.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
