Intro & Sensitive Skin Question

Good morning! I don't post on BMB much any more but I still lurk and learned most of what I know about CDing from this board. Thank you for the FAQs and newbie help. My DD has very sensitive skin. She has a reoccuring overnight rash. We use a BG 4.0 stuffed with a PF with a hemp doubler inside. We always coat her with CJs Butter before bed. The PF sometimes is soaked, but usually just the hemp doubler. In the morning, her bottom is cherry red. Do you have any other suggestions of what may prevent this? I am consideing SBish and wool or fleece. Would that be better than BG since it would allow her skin to breathe?

Does her bum normally get red from the BG's during the day as well, or is it just a nighttime problem?

A fitted with wool would definitely help her bottom breathe more at night no doubt about it.

No problems during the day time.

And she wears BG4.0 during the day? We ask because some have a suede cloth sensitivity.. So using BG4.0 might not work. Also, do you have the pf closer to her bottom then the hemp? Hemp absorbs more but not as quickly.

Yes, she wears mostly BG. I wrap the hemp inside of the pf and lay open side of prefold down so that it isn't next to her (opens toward PUL in pocket).
