Hi, Ladies! Greetings from New Orleans! I am here with baby Mags helping my mom through one of her rounds of chemo. The good news is that her radiation oncologist saw no trace of cancer in her lungs in her latest x-ray, and she suspects my mom is already in remission.

She will continue chemo through May, and we all know that lung cancer can be a sneaky one. But still! The other good news is that one of the things my mom wants me to do for her this week is take her to Mardi Gras parades! The craptastic news is that my step-dad has been recently diagnosed with stage IV metastatic prostate cancer. Hormone therapy should arrest it for a few years, God willing (or whatever), and then we'll take it from there with radiation and chemo. Anyway, thanks for your T&P, and if you'd throw a little dust my step-dad's way, I'll love you for it!

Great news about your mom! Glad that she's making such quick progress, and hopeful that she's kicked cancer's ass for good.
I'm sorry about your step-dad's diagnosis, but good thoughts and prayers your family's way.
