Yesterday DS took a really long nap (well, long for him) that was close to 2 1/2 hours. I ended up waking him because it had been 4 1/2 hours since his last feeding. How long do you let your LOs go between feeding? I'm hoping he was going through a growth spurt because he slept a lot yesterday and didn't really seem to want to eat all day.

Re: How long do you let LO go between feedings during the day?
This exactly...I open his door so my noise generally wakes him up.
On growth spurt days my DS usually sleeps about 18 hours waking long enough to eat about 3 to 4 times during that period. He usually eats a lot though the 24 hours before that sleep time, usually every 2-2.5 hours.
I think that babies will wake themselves up if they are hungry and that their is really not a reason to wake them up now that our babies are older. But that's just my opinion. Just be prepared to nurse a while if you BF or gulp down his bottle of formula when he wakes up.
