Remedies for a dry "tickle" cough??

T has a dry cough, you know the kind from that annoying "tickle" you get in your throat from post nasal drip. It keeps waking her up and she cries. I feel so bad. I've got the humidifier running in her room but any other suggestions? The Vicks on the feet trick is for congestion right not this kind of cough?

ditto to honey- or if you can get her to gargle some warm salt water- that helps too (L can gargle yet- so I just had him sip a little bit)
