2 things - 1st am I crazy?...

DS2 will be 1 in a few weeks and I'm thinking about switching to cloth diapering.  I've always been interested in it but never took the plunge because life is already hectic being a SAHM with two little boys.  But DS1 is totally potty trained and DS2 is about ready to move up to size 4 in diapers, so I thought maybe I'd invest in some cloth diapers and give it a try!  Is it crazy to start now?  Please tell me how wonderful it will be ;)

Second, I was about to order some of the Fuzzibuns Elite and I notice that they come with 1 small and 1 large (?) liner.  Is that enough or do I need to order extra liners or doubles from the get go?  DS2 is not a heavy wetter. 

Any other general tips or encouragement?  Thanks!

    Hi and welcome!

    1 is not too late to start. You may even get away with a smaller stash because you're not changing nb poo diapers every hour :)

    I'd order some hemp inserts for a heavy wetter. They're thin but absorbent, and will definitely help.

    I just started at 9 months and we're so happy we've made the change! I only go through 6-8 dipes a day. I've never had a leak, and because he's older and on table foods, the poop is "ploppable". We use pockets and have been very pleased. I have everything stuffed and ready to use, so it has been an easy transition from disposables. Super easy, super cute and saving us money! GL!

    Thank you both!  I don't know how I missed the FAQ link in the first place (I saw the glossary link but not the FAQ), I'll read that over before posing any more questions!

    I'd recommend you order more than just one brand. Fuzzibunz did not fit my daughter, Cotton babies was running a clearance on bg 4.0 there might still be some left.
