Water broke at 2:30 am

Last night was the first good night of sleep for me in the last 4 days, until I awoke at 2:30am to a trickling feeling. I got up and went to the bathroom, and my water had definately broke! We are in the hospital, have been on magnesium, antibiotics, and received out 1st steroid shot. We are hoping they stay put for the steroids, but they will for sure be born at 34 weeks. Please pray for the health and safety of our babies, we really appreciate it!

Good luck, and congrats on almost having your little ones (just not quite yet, right?).
Mine were born at 33 weeks, and the Mag held them in until I was able to get 2 steroid shots. As soon as the Mag was turned off, they were born that night. NICU for 3 weeks for feeding/growing. They did great!
My oldest was 34 weeks, but I didn't have time to get the steriod shots. She had a few breathing issues (CPAP), but also did great! NICU 2 weeks for breathing/feeding/growing.
You're at a good point in your pregnancy. Everyday helps, but you've done good so far!
My water broke in the middle of the night at 3am too at 33w4d. I had gotten the 2 steriod shots earlier in the week so we delivered them that morning via C-section. They didn't delay delivery. One was 3 lbs and other was 4 lbs.
We had a rough start, but have been doing amazing once we got out of the NICU and home. They are so energetic and fun at 10 months now that it is hard to remember the issues/problems in the beginning.
Hoping you hang on until you get the 2nd steriod shot. T&P for you and your little ones!
Hang in there mama! The EXACT same thing happened to me, only my water broke at 32w, 1d. They managed to keep me pregnant for 4 additional days and we got the steroid shots on board. We had NICU time, but my twins are perfectly healthy. They will be absolutely fine!!!! Relax as much as you can and fingers crossed that you make it to 34 weeks!
