Late CPW: When to put carseat in car?

I was just wondering about when you plan on putting the carseat in your car?

    I just got our travel system at my shower last weekend, so I'm saying 35 to 37 weeks because it's still sitting in the box ;o)

    DH will likely do it the day we bring this LO home just like he did with DS. We have a large dog that is going to be smooshed now with 2 car seats so we are waiting until the last possible minute. I also have an irrational fear that I will het into an accident and have to replace the car seat before we even use it.

    I plan to have DH put it in the car before picking me and the baby up from the hospital.  So after the baby is born, but before we go home.  Since we already have DS's carseat in the car putting the infant seat in there means no adults can ride in the back seat.  Plus DH has installed the seat already and its really easy in our cars.

    We're going to install it on St. Patrick's Day.  A month before my EDD and our hook-up-iversary.

    I'm planning on putting the carseat in around 30 weeks. DD showed up at 35.5 weeks so I'm not counting on going to full term with this one.

    We put the bases in around 35 wks because I wanted to have them inspected. I'm glad we did because they weren't in exactly right. 
    BFP 7/27/10, no hb discovered 9/3/10, natural m/c 9/17/10

    Not until I'm full term. Before then is pointless if LO has to stay in the NICU anyway.

    I'm so glad I asked this because DH and I don't have any experience with carseats and I was really not sure of when we should do it.  I guess maybe we should practice putting the base in at least by 30 weeks just to be sure we have a clue and then we can wait until like 37 weeks or so to actually leave it in there!
