men's underwear determines sex of baby

Disclaimer: this post is just for fun and something my husband and i were laughing about today.. but i'm also very curious, so would love for people to reply

My DH thinks that there is an association between the type of underwear that he wears while we conceive and the sex of our baby and future baby. It is well known that the "male sperm" are faster swimmers but also not as resilient as the "female sperm". When his mother and father were trying to have a baby 30 years ago their doctor suggested that he stop wearing tighty whities due to the fact that the increased temperature of the scrotum may not be ideal for the survival of sperm. As soon as his father switched to boxers, they conceived. Anyways... so my husband thinks that we will always have girls because he wears tight boxer briefs instead of loose fitting boxers.

If you don't mind my informal survey.. what kind of underwear does your husband/signficant other wear and what was the sex of your kiddos?

My friend and I laughed about this while we were pregnant together, funny to think about.

Anyways, both of our DH's wear boxers... and we both had boys.

Dh wears boxer briefs and we had 2 girls. But I also have a stepson so I don't know what that would mean. Lol

Well, no babies born yet, but my hubby wears boxers and we both think this will be a girl. Now, don't ask me how I know this... But my BIL wears boxer-briefs and they have 2 boys and my dad wears tightie-whities and he had 2 girls.

Okay, I'm not in the first tri anymore (I'm actually closer to 3rd!) but I was lurking and wanted to throw my answer in (: My DH wears strictly boxer briefs and our first was a girl and we're currently expecting a boy. So maybe they were a bit tighter when we conceived our daughter (; lol

Boxers (mostly) and we had a girl.

That said, my H works in computers and stopped using his laptop on his lap for similar reasons. (More sperm production than sex determination, but same idea.)
