Hi ladies! 

We had our first u/s this morning at 5w6d after IVF #2 and we we were able to see two gestational sacs, one with a fetal pole and a beautiful little heartbeat. We were not able to see the fetal pole or heartbeat in the second. My RE said that because I have a retroverted ute it can make things harder to see at this point. I go back next Thursday (7weeks) for a follow-up, but in the meantime I wanted to see if any of you have had any similar experiences.

    Congrats!  I also had an u/s at 5w6d and we were able to see two sacs, but only one with a fetal pole.  The other one we couldn't even see a yolk.

    Both are sleeping upstairs right now. :)

    Ditto - follow up u/s 1.5 wks later showed two healthy babies. Congrats :)

    yes me!  at 6 weeks saw one heartbeat and fetal pole and just an empty sac...about a week later TWO heartbeats:)

    I had two empty sacs at around 5w5d.  No yolk sacs or fetal poles.  10 days later I had 2 heartbeats and babies measuring 7 weeks.  Those 1st u/s can be a roller coaster!  Best of luck waiting for that next scan!

    I had spotting at 6 weeks and they couldn't find a fetal pole or heartbeat at the ER. a week later we found 2 heartbeats at my OB, sometimes they just need more time. I know it's hard, I was there, I convinced myself I had a miscarriage for a week while waiting for that second ultrasound. But, all turned out well.

    Hang in there! Waiting sucks...I'm sorry =(
