Thirsties Duos and NB

I was wondering about peoples experience with Duos and NBs. I know that sizeable covers often don't fit the little ones until later on. I have some OS that look definitely too big for a little baby, even snapped small. But, My Duos, snapped down, look like they're the same size as my Thirsties xsmall. Is it actually feasible that these may fit her right off the bat? (Yes, I do realize that all kiddos are different, but I figured I'd ask) TIA!

  • We've been using the duo wraps since anout week 2. Just make sure there aren't any gaps around the legs.

  • DS used the duos size 1 at birth without any problems or leaks.  (we had aplix though, I don't know if snaps would've gotten as snug a fit).  His cord stump fell off when he was about a week old so until then we tried to just fold down the best we could and didn't have any problems.

  • Yay...thanks ladies. I'm so excited to start this whole journey! DH is totally on board, and now I feel better about having a little more that may fit her right off the bat.

  • Yep, fit my LO.  I preferred the XSmall with aplix, but it's nice to have a few duos since they last longer.  All though, I think my LO might be outgrowing size 1 already!

  • The duos didn't work for us until around 5 weeks. The have the same rise, but the crotch is wider and we had gaps and leaks. The xs worked much better for us. But truthfully, the duo never worked very well for us, the rise snaps were always coming undone and we always reached for them last. I way prefer the sized thirsties covers.
