Success with Femara?

Hi Ladies!  Congratulations to you!  I have some questions for those of you who got a BFP with Femara.  I have done 4 cycles of Clomid with 2 IUI's all resulting in  BFN.  This month I started 5mg of Femara with trigger and IUI on Feb 11.  With Clomid I was getting 2 large follicles.  This time around I only had one at 18mm.  How did you respond to Femara?  Also, I started using endometrin as well (as per RE).  I appreciate any input.

    I had success with Femara. I took 2.5 mg and only had 1 follicle. We had our IUI when I assume my follicle was somewhere between 19-21 mm (my u/s days prior it was at 18). I have lining issues which is why I started with Femara instead of clomid and 2 days before my IUI my lining was 7.4 mm. I did not take anything to thicken my lining.

    I responded so-so to Femara alone. I got KU when I added injectibles. Keep in mind- the mechanism of action is different than Clomid- and you should only get one follicle. Good luck!

    I did not respond to Clomid whatsoever, but responded with 3 good sized follies on all 3 rounds of Femara.  I also had much less significant side effects with Femara (but I actually had a severe reaction to Climid.)  I got pregnant on my 1st IUI with Femara, but m/c at 7 weeks.  I got pregnant again on my 3rd IUI with Femara.  GL - I hope this works for you!
    TTC with PCOS since November 2009
    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
