Sleeping position

Just curious how everyone is sleeping. I try my best to sleep on my left side like you're supposed to, but I often wake to find myself on my back or on my right side. What about everyone else? I'm normally a back sleeper.

i've been having such a hard time, now that i have a belly, i'm such a stomach sleeper, so i've been having to sleep on my right or left side, but i'll wake up and have to roll over because one side will be dead with pins and needles LOL i have the boppy pregnancy pillow that i use sometimes, but i find that it's more of a pain, especially when you have to roll over and readjust LOL

I was always a right side sleeper...sometimes left. Never back or stomach. The past few months though I keep waking up on my back! I got a snoogle and that seems to be helping me stay mainly on my left or right sides but I still sometimes, like this morning, wake up on my back. My dr told me not to worry about it as long as I'm comfortable. He said he'd rather see me get sleep and be on my back if I'm comfy then not get sleep because I'm so focused on staying on one side.

I'm a stomach sleeper, for now at least! It's going to be difficult for me to transition to my side. My OB actually said not to worry about sleeping on your back although that would probably be the last position I'd sleep in.

When I asked my dr he didn't seem too concerned either but I notice I feel better when I sleep on my left. For some reason I just can't get that comfortable on that side. Maybe I just can't get comfortable in general lol. The snoogle helps sometimes too.

I find myself waking up on my back -- but mostly i am a side sleeper, i have a blanket i put under my belly that makes things more comfortable. not that i have a big one yet but its still more comfy for me.

I'm having a hard time with this as well. I'm trying to stay on my side but my hips are so sore that I keep catching myself on my back because it give me relief from the pain. My OB said not to stress about it and just do the best I can.

I go to sleep on my left side and still am waking up on my back. I've always been an all over sleeper. Still am. Even with the snoogle!

I was a back sleeper before. I keep waking up on my back and freaking out that I am hurting him

I have a body pillow on one side and a regular pillow on the other. Some nights, like last night, I stayed on one side the entire night. But that is unusual, so I typically wake up 3 to 4 times a night to readjust. I used to love sleep. Not so much anymore, ha!

That's good to know! I think I am worrying too much about being on my back that I get even less sleep.
