TTC After a Loss
Intro
Hi Everyone- Just wanted to introduce myself...My name is Cassie, I had an ectopic pregnancy about 3 weeks ago and ended up losing my right tube. It was such a shock and all happened so quickly I am still trying to process what happened. The Dr said we can start TTC after my period returns but I am not sure that we will start right away...
Has anyone else dealt with an ectopic pregnancy?

Cassie ... I am sorry that you find yourself on this board and for the loss of your baby. I hope you are recovering well from the surgery and beginning to feel like yourself again.
I was cleared to start trying right away, but we have decided to wait a few months just to give ourselves time to recover from our first loss. Everyone is different, and you will know when the time is right to try again.
I hope you find all the support you need here!
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

TTC since 11/09; 5/11: lap (endometriosis-cleared), HSG (high pressure in tubes- cleared) and Hystoscopy (endocervical polyp - removed)
8/5/11: BFP; 11/14/11: no heartbeat on US; 11/16/11: delivered my angel baby, 19w1d; 12/15/11: D&C

I personally do not have any experience with an ectopic pregnancy, however I want to tell you that I am so sorry for your loss and that you have to be here. You will find that the women here are unbelievably sweet and supportive!
Most of all, I hope your stay is short and sweet!
