Thank you Birdgirl. No real change to report yet although lots of good things are happening. She started the outpatient full day program yesterday (about a week before they thought they would have availability), I haven't heard how her first day went but they include the youngest child as part of the therapy which I think is great. She met with a new therapist on Monday who will be her normal therapist after this program ends and they really clicked. The one she saw prior, she was ambivalent about, so I am glad that she found someone she really liked. Fingers crossed things are going to get better soon. I'm really hopeful they will.
That sounds really positive. Your last post broke my heart. I can't imagine feeling so completely unable to do anything when I'm sure all she wants to do is feel normal and be able to take care of the kids.
This is great news. I'm so glad she is in a program, and feeling good about her new therapist. Have they kept her on the same meds? I'm really glad they are incorporating the baby in part of the therapy. It will really foster bonding between them.
