Hi everyone,The Adoption Prayer Group is a support group utilizing the power of prayer. If you want to join I will assign you a prayer buddy and all you have to do is simply include that person in your prayers. Very simple-yet powerful!!! If you have any concerns, special prayer requests, or need to reach me outside of the bump please email me at suzannesteward69@yahoo.com

Bhead81: They are home after 3.5 weeks in CA with Braden!
My praise: We finally heard back from the fire department! I called the fire inspector back and I?m waiting to hear from him. Also, my dad?s eye is healing nicely and he is doing much better.
Special Prayer Requests: Please let me know if you have any prayer requests.
My prayer request: I have been overwhelmed with studying for my comprehensive exam (the exam that I need to pass to get my graduate degree) that will be on March 23 & 24. Please pray that I pass this exam.
Joe?s Sweet Pea: There is a possibility that she has a recurrence of a benign tumor in her parotid gland. She will have a MRI on Friday, February 3. Please pray that it is not a tumor.
Ambie0611: She needs some prayers and guidance regarding her relationship with her mom. She and her mom have some issues that they need to work through for a healthier and better relationship. Please pray that they are able to work through these issues.
GnomeSweetGnome: Please pray that she is able to experience less stress because some of her other responsibilities (other than her coursework) are causing her a lot of difficulty and stress right now.
Sarai0316: Please pray that their adoption prints come back soon! This is the only thing that is left for her and her DH to be certified.
Welcome new member! Please join me in welcoming Layafette Girl J Her homestudy is finished and she is officially on the waiting list. Their SW has a potential match due in February that she wants to show their paperwork to. Please pray that all goes well.
Reflection for the day: Deuteronomy 33:27: ?The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.?
Question of the day: What are your plans for Valentine?s Day? DH and I are just going to have a quiet evening at home. We will go out for dinner as well, but not on the actual day. It just gets too crowded and crazy!
Group updates:
-If you have any upcoming events (appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, etc) be sure to let me know so I can post them in the events section!!

Re: Adoption Prayer Group
QOTD: We're not planning much. We'll probably go out to eat either this weekend or next, get each other cards, and hopefully some candy and possibly flowers. Pretty low-key.
Update for us: We are going to an information meeting at an agency on Feb. 21st!
Hi all...
First of all, the MRI came back showing a 12 mm mass. I have a biopsy scheduled for next Wednesday. Thanks for all of the prayers past and present.
As far as the QOTW: we don't do much on Valentine's Day. I don't cook, but I think I just just might surprise him and cook a fancy-schmancy dinner!
Hey ladies!!!
UPDATE: Fingerprints came through and we we're certified on Jan. 25, thank the Lord! We actually got a call yesterday and will be picking up a 30 day old baby girl from the hospital today.....no way to know what the future holds but we are excited to love and care for Baby J!!!! Please keep us in prayer and I am praying for all your request as well, ttys

Good Luck Gnome @ your meeting!
QOTD: We are planning a very romantic date at this HUGE arcade in Hilton Head, dinner at some yummy seafood place on the beach and perhaps a walk on the beach.
First year in 5 years we are actually doing something for VDay so I am excited.
Update for us: Just found out that our agency does payment plans so I am no longer worried about not having the money right away. Things with my mom have calmed down. I realized to not share so much with her and take our relationship one day at a time.
QOTD: We're just planning on spending the evening together at home. We'll probably order some take-out, and watch a movie.
Update: We had to turn down the sibling group we were looking at adopting. It was hard to say no, but there were issues that arose with which we weren't comfortable dealing. We just received a phone call today about another possible placement. It's still in the beginning stages, so as we find out more info., I will update.
Prayer request: I've been very emotional lately, when I think of reunifying our foster son with his bio mom. I'm so happy that she's getting her life together, but a little piece of me is sad that he may be leaving in the near future. Please pray that I find peace in this whole situation. Also, please pray for us as we find out more information about this new sibling group.
Welcome to our group! Your prayer partner is Layafette Girl and her email address is Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} kwengerf@gmail.com. Please send her an email and introduce yourself as her prayer partner. Also, please send me your email at suzannesteward69@yahoo.com.
Prayer partners keep in touch with each other and share special prayers and concerns with each other. Basically the whole idea of having a prayer partner is to have a buddy to go through the adoption process with.
Other than emailing Layafette Girl and myself, all you need to do is look for the the Adoption Prayer Group post every Wednesday and let me know if you have any prayer/praise requests. It's that simple!
