Baby Jogger strollers for less?

Hi - If I wanted to buy a fancy stroller - like the Baby Jogger City Elite or City Select - does anyone know whether it is worth waiting for a coupon to turn up? They sell them at BBB and BRU online, but I don't know if these kinds of big ticket items are ever coupon-able. I'm of course combing craigslist, but barring being able to find one used, any advice on potential savings? TIA!

    I haven't been paying attention for these two but I seem to remember with DD the brand generally being excluded. I look forward to others' replies!

    I do have the city select on my amazon registry and since it's sold by amazon it will be eligible for 10% off completion.

    Do you specifically want Baby Jogger brand? If not, if you're an REI member, you can use their 20% off coupon on BOB strollers.

    Go to babycheapskate.com and read what they have to say about strollers. Their blog will update with any sales, and the stroller posts may indicate the regular sales or best prices.

    We got our baby jogger city elite when they were phasing out the previous season's models. Around November or December.

    if you're willing to buy it in the next 5 days, you can get 25% off at BRU with the trade in event. just have to bring something to trade in (doesnt have to be a stroller). ebat is offering me her old car seat for free, so ask nesties and friends if they have something they're getting ready to donate or trash.

    Yes, this is a great sale, and I got our car seat this way, but Baby Jogger strollers aren't sold in store, and anything you buy has to be bought the day you come in, IN STORE. Be warned.
